Over the years, Dr Godwin has built a trusted, caring team of family doctors, including Dr Megan Snyman and Dr Nicola Johannsen. Meet Dr Claire Godwin
Qualifications: MBBCh (University of Cape Town), PG Dip. in Obstetric Care
Dr Claire Godwin, a dedicated general practitioner in Randburg, leads our practice with a rich background in women’s and child health. Raised in Johannesburg, Dr Godwin graduated from the University of Cape Town and completed her medical internship at Baragwanath Hospital. Her journey included further education with a postgraduate diploma in Obstetric care at Leratong Hospital. In 2017, she established her practice at Premier Health Centre, quickly becoming a cornerstone of the Randburg community.
Her holistic approach ensures that all patients receive compassionate and comprehensive care, making her a highly respected GP near you. Outside the office, Dr Godwin balances her professional life with her role as a wife and mother to twin toddlers, enhancing her empathy and connection with her parents.
Meet Dr Megan Snyman
Qualifications: BSc Sports Science (Stellenbosch University), MBBCh (Wits University)
Dr Megan Snyman brings over a decade of medical experience to our practice. Initially studying Sports Science at Stellenbosch, she later earned her medical degree from Wits University, followed by two years with Doctors Without Borders. Known for her warm and approachable demeanour, Dr Snyman has a robust background in internal medicine, from endocrinology to oncology, primarily at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital. As a Randburg doctor living locally with her family and pets, she deeply understands the healthcare needs of our community.
Meet Dr Nicola Johannsen
Qualifications: MBBCh (Wits)
Dr Nicola Johannsen, another esteemed general practitioner in Randburg, has been with us since completing her MBBCh at Wits and her subsequent internship and community service in the Eastern Free State. Her passion for family medicine shines, especially in paediatrics and endocrine disorders. Dr Johannsen’s interests, like gardening and board games, complement her professional dedication, offering a well-rounded approach to patient care.
